Practice Arena
I say this is a good idea. Here is what PA does:
-You can set the mode to PvE to PvP skills.
-You can adjust opponents skills and attributes. These changes only reflect on YOUR account.
-You cannot team up here. Only H/H.
-You can bring heroes and any henchies you want.
-You can adjust the amount of monsters.
-The monsters do NOT drop items.
-You gain no experience for kills.
I think this would be a good idea for making team builds. You could also make team builds for certain conditions (hex areas, etc.)
Anybody else agree?

It's a good idea, but I doubt that the usefulness would justify the work to implement it.

I think that the Zaishen challenge/Zaishen elite are already a "practice arena" for PvP.
I'm kind of confused as to what you think the practice arena is supposed to accomplish though. There seems to be very little point in the PvP/PvE option since there is no longer any way to use heroes in any form of PvP, so it just seems utterly useless.
Plus team setups can be tested by simply going to any given outpost, setting the game to HM, and going out to kill sh**. Hex and condition areas are plentiful in the maguuma jungle areas of Proph. with the added bonus of actually getting drops and xp.
Plus you actually have the option of teaming /w ppl this way, which you seem to be against for a reason I fail to understand.

I don't really see much point in this, no where near enough to justify the time and resources required to make it. If you want to test something, just find a suitable PvE area (there are heaps of areas you could go to specifically target hex heavy, condition heavy, etc). PvP isn't too hard to test either.

i think its a good idea at least. not all of us know where to go to find hex heavy/condition heavy areas. this would be fun to goof around with sometimes. and in the end, shouldnt it be all for fun? with all the nerfing they are doing to skills/areas, they should make something fun to do besides the few fun areas left.

Now there's an idea. Tie this in /w the "pre nerf month" idea that's been going around lately. Allow players to choose any of the previous functionality of the skills they have.
Still, way too much implementation without any lasting or meaningful additions to gameplay. I think the 4 people that are currently on the Live team can better spend their time elsewhere, no?
